Abstract & Presentation guidelines


Abstracts for poster presentations are accepted for as long as possible, possibly until the very start of the meeting. We are looking forward to receiving your contributions!


Width 70 (cm) x Height 100 (cm)
This is the size of the usable surface of the display panels.
Two posters will be displayed on each side of a single board (four poster per board). Please be considerate of the person with whom you share a display space.
Participants are encouraged to print their posters on recycled material.


Contributed talks: 15 minutes (12 minutes talk + 3 minutes discussion)
Invited talks: 25 minutes (20 minutes talk + 5 minutes discussion)


The EED Napoli Conference will utilize a Presentation Management system that allows for advance submission of presentations, review of presentations in the Speaker Ready Room, and the networked transfer of presentations into each session room. Speakers will present from the podium using the Presentation Management software.

The Speaker Ready Room is located on the 1st floor of the Stazione Marittima Congress Site. You must upload your presentation at the Speaker Ready Room the day before or at least 1 hour before the start of the session, only if your presentation is scheduled in the morning session on the first day of the congress.
You can upload your presentation in the Speaker Ready room using a USB memory stick.

All presentations must use a PowerPoint (Microsoft) format (version 2010 and later) or a PDF.
If your presentation contains any movies, be sure to bring a file MPEG4, AVI or WMV.
Personal laptops can be used ONLY with compatible cables & connectors provided by you.
Preferred format is widescreen 16:9 (4:3 is also allowed).


Abstracts has been reviewed and any abstract that was submitted for oral presentation, but could not be fitted in the sessions programme as a talk, has been accepted for a poster presentation.

Maximum length of an abstract is 250 words

All the abstracts already submitted (for the previous dates) before November 2021, have been deleted. We kindly ask you to submit the abstract ex novo.
